Got new (to me) barstools

Changed out the modern barstools we've had for 6 years. They were ok, but not fitting in with the traditional atmosphere that I'm leaning toward.

These are what I replaced them with - study wood ones with backs. I had to get them from 2 different sellers on Craigslist because I needed 5 and most sellers only had 2 or 3. I really love these and they're very comfortable and easy to slide in and out of because of the smooth wooden seat. I like that they are in 2 different designs - it's not so "matchy-matchy" that way. I love Craigslist!

hello and thanks for stopping by. I am also from the bootheel. I lived south of Cape for 33 years until I moved up here 2000. I went to school in a little town called delta and I once worked in Sikeston Mo. Where are you close to? I bet we may know some of the same people. I love to meet fellow Mo bloggers. I am actually going home in the next month to see my folks. I love to go home. That will always be my home. Wide open spaces and corn fields you can see for miles in. I have a post called where I'm from on my blog archives. You may be interested to read it. It will have alot of "home" in it for you too. Shanda

OMG!!!! I am just so excited to meet someone on here and all by accident. Maybe its not really. the lord works in mysterious ways ya know. I have a lot of family who live in Advance now. I think I remember your sister. In grad in 1985 with the dinasours, I think she was quite abit younger than me. I know right where your dads cafe was. They later converted it into an apartment and I think my brother might have lived there for a short while upon returning from the army. It is such a small world isn't it. I am near Jefferson city now. So nice to find you here.
